Parties Cortes has played host to countless parties over the last 200 years - we ourselves had our 40th birthday party in the house! The house lends itself equally well to large formal gatherings as to small relaxed house parties. For the larger more formal parties please see our page on weddings. For smaller gatherings, the dining room accommodates 25 for a sit down meal and the three other reception rooms allow your guests to drink, chat and maybe dance without getting in one another's way. The large reception room is ideally suited for dancing. - at a recent party 55 people were Scottish reeling well into the night! There's even a hire shop for kilts up the road if you wish to get fully into the swing!
